New to ABC? Need to build up your endurance? Been off your bike awhile? This is the group for you! Easy pace, 12-16 mph. No one will be dropped. We will just ride our bikes. No breakfast stops, so bring your snacks. 2nd and

Every Saturday and Sunday Moon Valley Rides
Start from Moon Valley Park on Coral Gables Drive just East of 7th Ave. Rides leave at 8:00 AM December, January and February, 7:30 AM March, October and November, 6:30 AM April, May and September, and 6:00 AM June, July and August. Every Saturday Morning -- Bullshifter Rides.

Bullshifters. Our club rides start from the Bull north parking lot located at the southwest corner of I-17 and Thunderbird Road. Turn south at the first traffic light west of I-17 to enter the parking area. The club offers two groups: the CanniBULLs and the CapaBULLs. The CanniBULLs are a race pace group that average over 22 mph. The CapaBULLs are a more moderately paced group that average 18-22 mph on flat terrain. The CapaBULLs regroup at prearranged points on every ride. A ride leader is designated for each ride. The ride leader acts as a guide and shepherd for the CapaBULL group. Geezers & Wheezers ride: Saturdays meet at Camelback Inn, Scottsdale at 5402 E Lincoln Dr. just east of Tatum on Lincoln. The group averages 17+ mph, which translates to 19 to 25+ on the flats. Route goes NE from Camelback Inn. Outbound ends on a climb up to end of Via Linda. Roundbellys take note, once you know the route, there are several shortcut options which allow you to get ahead of the flatbellys on the last climb up Via Linda. All return to AJ's at Via Linda and Mountain View (roundbellys benefit from effects of gravity on this portion) for lies and coffee before spinning back to Camelback Inn and home. Round trip from Camelback Inn is approximately 40 miles. This group is a pick up ride and not an officially associated with ABC. Web Site

For new cyclists or cyclists who want to get back in shape, this ride averages 10-15 mph for 20-35 miles every Sunday. First and third Sundays start from Chaparral Park in Scottsdale. PMBC. Every Sunday The Desert Breeze Spin-Cycle. Join our Sunday ride from Desert Breeze Park located between McClintock and Rural, Chandler Blvd. and Ray along Desert Breeze Parkway (north parking lot). Ride options of 30+ or 40+ miles and pace options from moderate to advanced. Breakfast usually near the end of the ride. We spin out at 7:30 AM in November, 8:00 AM in Dec/Jan/Feb, 7:00 AM in April & May, 6:30 AM in July and August, 7:00 in September. Come join us! A No-Name group of older folks meet each Monday and Thursday morning at 9am, at the Chino Valley Senior Center. Monday ride is usually about 20 miles, but a return option is always available. Thursday ride is usually 30-40 miles, but has been less, depending on how we all feel that day. We usually have lunch afterwards. The pace is moderate, about 12-15mph, with a quick stop about every 15 minutes as needed. All rides are on paved roads and streets. Minimal traffic.

[ABC] Every Tuesday Evening June through August -- "The Circuit."

Get a great workout! Meet us at Chevy's on Tuesday evenings starting June 1. We leave at 6:00 pm and tour the Paradise Valley area--about 17 hilly miles. All riders welcome. Wear a helmet. We don't drop anybody, but faster riders may want to buddy up with another speedster. Chevy's is at 26th St. and Camelback. Plenty of parking behind the restaurant. A weekly mountain bike ride leaves form the Slippery Pig Bike Shop (Central and Camelback) every Wednesday night at 7pm (summer start time). The ride warms up on 4 miles of road to DreamyDraw trailhead. The group (from 10 to 25 riders) splits into two skill-level groups. We ride varying trail loops for about an hour and reconvene for the warm-down ride back to the shop. Ride leader is Eric Angermeir 602-263-5143. All comers welcome.


Thursday Night Moon Loops
7:15 pm. 4.2 mile loop. 6 loops-but you can do as many loops as you want. Start at the corner of N. Corral Gables and Moon Valley-1 block north of Thunderbird. From Thunderbird, turn north on Corral Gables (between Central and 19th Ave). Call Kathleen for more info. 602 298-7766
