At last night's ABC board meeting, we discussed the possibility of a new chapter in the Sun City/Vistancia area. Of course everyone was excited! We also have scheduled a Ride Leader Workshop. We are hoping to attract all current ABC ride leaders and also anyone interested in leading future ABC rides. In order to offer a choice of times, we have scheduled two sessions for this event:
Thursday, September 20, 7:00-9:30 PM
Saturday, September 22, 1:00-3:30 PM
Please use the online calendar at http://azbikeclub.com/content.aspx?page_id=2&club_id=53364 to register for one of the two sessions. If neither date fits your schedule, please reply by email and give me a sense of when would be a better time for you. If there is sufficient demand for alternate dates, I will try to schedule additional sessions. I will be working on a more detailed agenda and would welcome any input. I am referring to this as a "workshop" rather than a "class" because I think a high level of interactivity is critical. Bring your issues and ideas and let's discuss.

How can I use a chapter web page on AzBikeClub.com to promote rides?
How can I put rides on the club's online calendar?
What does the club's insurance cover?
How do I deal with liability?
How can I use the club's web site to keep a record of what I've done?
How do we handle non-members?
What will the club do to reward me for my efforts?
